MEHRIBAN ALIYEVA ATTENDED THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF UNESCO GOODWILL AMBASSADORS
Annual assembly of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors was held at the organization’s headquarters, October 16. First Lady of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO Mehriban Aliyeva attended the Assembly.
AN AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT WAS SIGNED BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND UNESCO ON RESTORATION OF HAITI’S CULTURAL SECTOR
An agreement for financial support was signed on October 27 within the 36th Session of UNESCO’s General Conference between Azerbaijan and UNESCO to restore the cultural sector of Haiti after the earthquake.
FIRST LADY OF AZERBAIJAN, GOODWILL AMBASSADOR OF UNESCO MEHRIBAN ALIYEVA PARTICIPATES IN THE 36TH SESSION OF UNESCO GENERAL CONFERENCE IN PARIS
The 36th session of UNESCO General Conference started at the Organization’s Head Office in Paris, 26 October. Mehriban Aliyeva, the head of the Azerbaijan delegation, First Lady of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, participated in the session.
The 11th Annual Assembly of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors was held on September 12 in Paris. First Lady of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the Assembly.
Azerbaijan's First Lady, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO Mehriban Aliyeva arrived at the UNESCO headquarters, April 19. First, Mrs Aliyeva met with UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova.
On April 19, an exhibition of Azerbaijani carpets was opened at UNESCO. Mrs. Aliyeva and Mrs Bokova attended the exhibition. All the spheres of Azerbaijan's carpet-making school, including geographical location, pattern, composition, color, technical features were represented there.
Ceremony on the 65th anniversary of UNESCO was held at the head office of the Organization in Paris, December 14.
